Leo/New Century Lions & District 19A Conference

Hello Leo Members! Here’s a great chance for you to meet Leos and Lions around the district and learn how to help out after graduation.

Date: April 27th (Saturday)

Time: 9:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.

Location: Empire Landmark Hotel

Dress Code: Semi-Formal

The cost is $10 and includes lunch! We encourage you to go, as many people as possible are accepted in to this event.

Afterwards there will be an awards ceremony! Our Leos will compete against Leos from other schools for awards. It is on the same day and at the same location but…

Multicultural Spring Festival

Hello Leos! Want to show off your hidden musical talents? Want some extra service hours? Byrne Creek is having its first Multicultural Spring Festival!

Date: February 19th (Friday)

Time: 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.

Event Location: Byrne Creek Secondary

Meeting Time: 5:00 P.M. or earlier; volunteers have to help set up.

We are still looking for performers! Anyone who wants to perform can leave a comment or contact Leon, Betty, Bryan, Barry, or Aiken!
Also, any Leos interested in bringing multicultural food to the event is welcomed!

Edmonds Community Center Performance


Are you interested in performing in front of senior audience!? Here is your chance!

Date: February 16th (Saturday)

Time: 10:30 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.

Location: 7282 Kingsway, Burnaby (Edmonds Community Center)

Meeting Location: Edmonds Skytrain Station

Meeting Time: 10:00 A.M.

We need around 5 performances, we have around 2-3 right now 🙂

Parent-Info Night

Here is another new event that is coming up!This event was called Parent-Teacher Interview, but this time there will be Grade 7 students and parents coming as well. Each club will set up a booth as advertisement and also we will provide information of our club, and hopefully we will be able to get more Leos to join us next year!

Objective: Help parents find teachers, show everyone what LEO is, set-up, take-down.
Date: February 12th
Time: Right after school for set-up
Location: Meet at Ms. Fujiki’s Room (B102)
Dress-code: Leo shirts
